Acrylic on moose antler shed. I found this matching set on my last successful moose hunt, around 2020. They've been collecting dust ever since, waiting to be painted.

Over the last couple of years I've started identifying Alaskan wildflowers while out in the mountains. It keeps me more mindful and makes every hike a little more memorable. A lot of local art leans on fireweed — and I get it, fireweed is beautiful — but I wanted to highlight some of the flowers that get overlooked.

This piece features Western Indian Paintbrush (that almost glow-in-the-dark highlighter yellow-green), Dogwood (the small white four-petaled ones that look like a field of stars), Bluebells, Lupines, and yes, fireweed too.

One of a kind. Shipping arranged individually at time of purchase.
