In the fall of 2021, I had the pleasure of showing alongside fellow Alaskan artist Sarah Glaser at Wild Scoops Creamery in Midtown Anchorage. Wild Scoops is a local microcreamery known for handcrafted small-batch ice cream made with Alaskan ingredients — a spot where creativity and community come together naturally. It turned out to be a fitting home for art. The show was packrafting-inspired. Sarah and I are both born-and-raised Alaskans who arrived at the water through very
